Your belts are fantastic, except the buckles keep breaking. They literally break into pieces. I keep buying your belts because theyre great, but please change the type of buckles.

I bought this belt, not for looks but was hoping it would be a durable belt since it looked like that thick leather belt my pops used to whoop my azz with but it wasn’t the case. it broken AT THE BUCKLE of all places in just 90 days of ware. Don’t recommend you buy this belt.

Buckles Broke…on all 3 Bed Stu belts I have bought from Zappos. 3 Belts bought about the same time…minimal wear, minimal pressure, belts look new. Very low quality buckle. I do like the style! I did not review the belt after the first buckle broke as I thought it might be a fluke (But I could not get a replacement since it had been a year which is expected when you are wearing 4-5 belts throughout the year)But after the 3rd buckle broke today, be warned.

I love that the leather is sturdy but soft. I’ve worn this belt about 4 times and it already feels like I’ve had it 4 months. I am a very happy with this purchase as well as the other BedStu belt I purchased. Great quality and fit!

Bought this same belt about 4 years ago and the old one was great. Just received the new one. It’s cheap Chinese garbage. Not even sure it’s real leather. It feels and looks like some sort of composite material, like a resin coated canvas??? The width is true to size, but the thickness is substantially thinner than the original model. Buckle in the photo appears to be a steel roller buckle. This belt actually comes equipped with a stamped or cast piece of zinc. This product is just trash. Like thinner and shoddier denim jeans, the trend has carried over into belts and shorts. $45 bucks for a $10 belt. Hype to bang ratio is way out of whack here. Just un-sat. Skip this one and skip Bed Stu too.

I ordered this despite the reviews because it’s vintage looking from the 70s and you can’t find this kind of belt at Macy’s and Bloomingdales

Despite the negative reviews, I took a leap of faith and bought this belt because I liked the look. It’s part of the Bed Stu “Cobbler” series. Apparently, the cobbler was drunk when he made my belt. The buckle was on BACKWARDS. My husband took the belt apart – there are snaps (?) – and fixed the buckle. Then two days later we found another part of the belt on the floor that had come off when hubby made the repairs. So he took it apart again, put that loop-thingy back on. I still haven’t worn it but I’m hanging onto it because 1) I like how it looks 2) I’m curious to see if it falls apart like the other reviews say, lol. Seriously though, I’ll update but it’s been a rough start.

Not Bed Stu Quality at all. I was so excited about ordering this belt. It was absolutely nothing like the traditional Bed Stu trademark leather. The color is called “black abrasive” and the photo shows a somewhat distressed / worn looking soft black leather. The belt that came was a cheap, shiny almost plastic-y leather which was nowhere near the photo or the Bed Stu product that I was expecting. I sent it back. I could get a belt like that at Target for much less.

Just an ordinary belt, and if you put it on something dark, you can barely see all the punched holes. On something lighter or a very different color, the holes would show and the belt would look lots better. Fairly thick, for me, too, so I won’t keep this one. Nice leather, tho not all that soft. The 40″ one fits my large waist nicely (37-38″ over clothing).
